  Founder Tom Simic built Simic Financial after seeing the same problem again and again through hundreds of businesses.

  As a tax accountant, Tom met business owners who thought their accountant was their strategic advisor. They weren’t.
  Most “advisory” was a yearly tax chat about numbers already 18 months old. The time and depth just weren’t there, and isn’t the specialty of accountants that are        already too busy with tax work.

  Later, working inside tech startups, he watched ambitious businesses make another costly mistake. They hired a full-time Financial Controller, expecting strategy.        They got reports and an expensive bookkeeper.
